What is Leap & Shine About & What to Expect From It -

Dance isn't just movement—it's emotion, identity, resilience. Leap & Shine is a summer-long portrait campaign celebrating the dancers in our community through powerful imagery and personal storytelling.Each week, I’ll feature one or two local dancers through expressive photo sessions and spotlight features across my blog and social media.From twirling toddlers to fierce pre-professionals, this series honors the passion and artistry behind every leap, turn, and stretch.

Want to Nominate a Dancer?Whether it’s your child, your student, or yourself—if you know a dancer whose spirit shines both on and off the stage, I want to hear from you.Nominees will:

Receive a free mini portrait session

Be featured in a personal spotlight with images and a short story

Have the opportunity to be part of a community celebration at the end of the series

How to Participate in Leap & Shine

Celebrate Together At the end of the summer, selected dancers will be honored in a community showcase—either in person or online. It's our way of saying: You matter. Your story deserves to be seen.

Step 1: Nominate Know a dancer with passion, artistry, or a powerful story?

Nominate them using the form below.

You can nominate yourself, a friend, a student, or your child—everyone is welcome.

Step 2: Share Their Story

Tell me what makes this dancer shine.

It could be their resilience, creativity, dedication, or love for movement.

This is where the magic begins.

Step 3: Be Selected

Each week, 1–2 dancers will be chosen to receive a complimentary mini photo session and be featured on my social media and blog.

Step 4: Get Featured

I’ll capture their spirit through expressive portraits and a short story—celebrating their voice, style, and journey in front of a vibrant new audience.
