Hello & Welcome!

We are so happy you've stopped by.

At JSPS, we bow in reverence before the art of dance and pledge our unwavering commitment to preserving its ephemeral beauty through the eternal lens of our cameras.

As photographers, we consider it an absolute privilege to work alongside local dance studios, capturing the magical moments that unfold during a dance routine and immortalizing them forever.

Photographing dancers in a studio setting can be a challenge given the dynamic nature of the art form.
In the studio, lighting, angles, and dancer's movements all play an integral role in creating a captivating image.

Dancers are artists in their own right, and their bodies are the canvas for their creativity. The harmony of their movements, the rhythm of their steps, and the intense expressions on their faces as they pour their heart and soul into the dance; all these elements are brought to life in the photographs.

The beauty of this art is in its transience - each moment is fleeting, each movement is ephemeral. But capturing these moments in a photograph provides an opportunity to freeze the dance in time, preserving the story told by the dancer for eternity.

We Love Capturing the Graceful Moments

As photographers, our role is to recognize the beauty in every movement, every turn, every leap. To capture the essence of the dance, the spirit of the dancer, and the passion poured into every performance.

We pay attention to the dance itself - the movements, the story, the rhythm, and the energy. Each dance is unique and demands a different approach, a different perspective.
It's our job to understand the dance and translate it into a photograph that does justice to the performance.

In the end, it's all about capturing the spirit of the dance, the soul of the dancer, and the energy of the performance. We strive to create photographs that evoke the same emotions in the viewer as the dance does in the audience.

We are more than just photographers. We are storytellers. We take the raw, emotive power of dance and translate it into images that tell a story.
A story of grace, of strength, of passion.

We are privileged to work with talented dancers and dedicated dance studios, and we take great pride in capturing the magic of their performances.

If you'd like to have your studio partner up with us, we'd love to hear back from you.
